About the ZDEC A81 Distributing Controller / Sender Hub

The ZDEC A81 Distributing Controller is a specialized data distribution and signal extension hub designed specifically for large-scale LED display walls and architectural lighting systems. Functioning as a critical intermediary in a ZDEC control network, it takes the complex video data from a primary sending card and reliably splits and boosts it across multiple long-distance output channels.

Because massive outdoor LED billboards and sprawling building facades require running data cables far beyond the standard limitations of basic ethernet or ribbon cables, signal attenuation (weakness) can cause entire sections of the screen to flicker, drop frames, or go completely black. The A81 HUB solves this by acting as an active "differentiator." It regenerates the incoming data stream and amplifies it, ensuring that distant receiver cards get a pristine, perfectly synchronized signal, allowing AV integrators to dramatically scale up the physical size of their LED installations.
