Description

The Remote Control Panel (RCP-120) enables you control of the FSN multi-format switcher AUX outputs from a remote location. The RCP-120 allows you to remotely control routing sources to the FSN AUX outputs. This means you can select sources for monitoring, perform adjustments or record without interfering with the main production workflow managed by the FSN-150 control panel. The RCP-120 is fully integrated with the FSN system. Dedicated menus allow the setup and configuration of the RCP-120 from the FSN control panel. An integrated web interface is also provided for remote setup and configuration. The RCP-120 is available in a slim 1RU package featuring 12 high-resolution color LCD displays that allow for electronic labeling. The panel provides selection of up to 20 sources. Up to thirty-two (32) RCP-120 units can be connected to the FSN system via an Ethernet switch. The buttons on the RCP-120 follow the input bus mapping and source labeling as defined on the FSN control panel. The RCP-120 operates in two modes: standard and mixer. In standard mode, AUX outputs are switched immediately after you press the source button. In mixer mode, you can assign an additional panel to Preview and transitioned to Program by pressing the AUTO TRANS button. Read more

About the Barco RCP-120 Remote Control Panel

The Barco RCP-120 is a dedicated remote control panel designed to provide comprehensive, hardware-based control for Barco projection systems, particularly in complex, multi-projector installations found in control rooms, simulation environments, and large-scale visualization suites. This professional interface serves as a centralized command station, enabling operators to manage critical projector functions such as power sequencing, input selection, color calibration, geometric alignment, and system diagnostics without needing to interact directly with the projector's onboard menus or rely solely on software. Its design emphasizes operational efficiency and reliability, offering tactile feedback and immediate access to frequently used commands, which is essential in mission-critical environments where quick adjustments or system checks are necessary to maintain continuous, flawless display performance.

The panel features a logical layout with dedicated buttons, rotary encoders, and an intuitive navigation interface, often centered around a high-resolution display that provides real-time status information and menu feedback. It connects to the Barco projector network via standard communication protocols, allowing it to control a single projector or an entire array of units from a single location. Key functionalities include the ability to adjust color settings across multiple projectors to ensure uniformity in video wall configurations, execute lens adjustments like shift, zoom, and focus, and manage advanced settings such as edge blending and warp correction for non-planar surfaces. This level of direct hardware control simplifies the workflow for technicians and engineers, reducing the time required for setup, calibration, and troubleshooting.

Built to withstand the demands of 24/7 operational environments, the RCP-120 is housed in a robust, rack-mountable metal chassis. Its integration into professional AV systems is seamless, supporting connectivity via serial (RS-232) and Ethernet (IP) interfaces for flexible installation and compatibility with broader control systems like Crestron or AMX. By providing a dedicated, physical interface, the Barco RCP-120 enhances the usability and manageability of high-end projection systems, offering a level of precise, responsive control that is vital for maintaining the performance and alignment of complex visual displays where software-based control alone may not provide the required immediacy or tactile precision for fine adjustments.
