Crestron HD-RX-101-C-E Surface Mountable DM Lite Receiver

The HD-RX-101-C-E is a surface-mountable DM Lite receiver designed to pair with a DM Lite transmitter to form a point-to-point signal extender for HDMI® signals. The DM Lite family of products offers a very simple and versatile solution for extending HD, UHD, 2K, and 4K video signals, with stereo or surround sound audio, over a single CAT5e (or better) cable. A cable length of up to 230 ft (70 m) is supported for HD 1080p, WUXGA, and 2K signals, or up to 130 ft (40 m) for UHD and 4K.

It is the endpoint unit in a point-to-point extension system, typically paired with a DM Lite transmitter (such as the HD-TX-101-C-E) to create a simple, reliable link between a source and display in commercial AV installations. This receiver is engineered to handle HDCP-compliant signals, supporting resolutions up to 4K UHD at 30Hz, and is capable of transmitting embedded digital audio (like HDMI audio), making it suitable for applications such as digital signage, conference rooms, classrooms, and control rooms where a clean, long-distance connection between a media player or computer and a display is required.

The device is designed for easy and discreet installation. Its low-profile, surface-mount casing allows it to be mounted directly behind a flat-panel display or under a table, minimizing visible cabling and preserving aesthetic cleanliness. It features a local HDMI output to connect to the display and an analog stereo audio output to feed an external sound system if needed.
