Martin Audio THV 3-Way Bi-Amp Trapezoid Hybrid® Fully Horn Loaded Speaker, Vertical

The THV is a 3-way, all-horn, very high-performance system in a single, vertically formatted, wide-bandwidth package.

The THV features a 3-driver compliment engineered for top performance in all frequency bands.

The Hybrid® low frequency section uses a horn-loaded 15-inch driver with a 4-inch voice coil. The driver is reflex loaded to extend the LF output beyond the natural horn cut-off point. The driver has a water-resistant cone and triple roll surround for extended excursion.

The mid-horn incorporates a unique “phase-ball” loading device to maintain the constant directivity characteristics of the horn at the upper end of its range. This section uses a 10-inch midrange driver equipped with an aluminum demodulating ring for reduced distortion and improved high-mid clarity when driven hard.

The 70° x 40° high frequency section features a neodymium 1-inch exit compression driver with a Kapton diaphragm delivering high sensitivity and extended HF performance.

An internal passive mid-high crossover enables the 3-way system to be driven in a bi-amped configuration.
