The SmallRig Magic Arm & Magnetic Suction Cup Mounting Support Kit for Action Cameras is a compact professional mounting solution designed to secure compatible action cameras to flat, magnetic metal surfaces. The system combines a magnetic suction cup with a 360° adjustable dual-ball magic arm, providing flexible positioning for vehicle-mounted shooting, production work, travel documentation, and other low-impact action-camera applications. The integrated magnetic and vacuum-suction design provides additional retention in the event of suction loss.

The mounting system uses a 1/4"-20 mounting screw and includes an action-camera adapter with a 3-prong interface. It is compatible with a broad range of action-camera configurations, including GoPro, Insta360, DJI Osmo Action, and AKASO systems when used with the appropriate camera cage or frame. The dual-ball magic arm permits 360° adjustment, allowing the camera to be positioned at the desired shooting angle before securely locking the arm in place.

The magnetic suction cup is constructed with silicone contact material and incorporates magnets together with vacuum suction to provide stable attachment on suitable flat iron or magnetic metal surfaces. SmallRig specifies a dynamic load capacity of 0.35 kg (0.8 lb) for vehicle shooting on a flat road at speeds not exceeding 120 km/h (74 mph). The manufacturer recommends using a safety rope for high-speed vehicle applications and checking the mounting security before use and at regular intervals.

Constructed from aluminum alloy, plastic, and silicone, the 4466 kit weighs approximately 196 g and measures approximately 134.5 x 75 mm. It is intended for dry, controlled applications and should only be mounted to appropriate flat magnetic surfaces; it is not designed for glass, carbon fiber, painted surfaces, rough surfaces, prolonged water exposure, or high-impact sports. The kit includes the magnetic suction cup, magic arm, action-camera mount, and suction-cup dust cover.
