Z CAM E1509 E2N 4K NDI Camera

The Z CAM E1509 E2N is a professional 4K NDI-enabled box camera designed for IP-based live production, streaming, broadcast, education, corporate AV, and multi-camera applications. It combines a 4/3-inch CMOS sensor with a Micro Four Thirds active-lock lens mount, providing compatibility with a broad range of interchangeable MFT lenses. The camera captures up to 4K at 60 fps and supports NDI|HX3, NDI|HX, and Z CAM's SSP streaming technologies, allowing it to integrate directly into modern networked video-production environments.

The camera's 10.71-megapixel sensor provides a specified 11.5 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO values of 500 and 2500, supporting flexible operation across a wide range of lighting conditions. Recording is available in H.265 and H.264 8-bit formats, with MOV and MP4 file support. In addition to 4K recording at up to 59.94/60 fps, the E2N supports Full HD recording at frame rates up to 240 fps for high-speed capture applications.

For networked production, the E2N provides Gigabit Ethernet with PoE+ support and NDI tally control, allowing video, control, and power to be integrated into a compatible network infrastructure. NDI|HX3 provides an efficient IP-video workflow with reduced bandwidth requirements compared with full-bandwidth NDI, while simultaneous NDI and SSP streaming enables flexible distribution options. The camera also provides a web-based control interface and open API functionality for remote configuration, monitoring, and integration into production-control systems.

The camera includes HDMI 2.0 Type A output supporting up to 4K 60 fps, USB 3.0 Type-C connectivity, stereo 3.5 mm audio input and output, Wi-Fi, and an SD card slot for internal recording. Power can be supplied through a 12 V DC 2-pin LEMO input, PoE+, or a compatible LP-E6-series battery. With a compact 85.3 x 91 x 86 mm body and approximately 660 g weight without a lens, the E2N is well suited to permanent installations, compact multi-camera systems, streaming rigs, and mobile production configurations.
